About

Hello,  and thank you for visiting my blog.  If you like Food (who does not?), Fashion, Photography, Traveling – this is your one stop shop.  You will find a little bit of everything.  My photography background allows me to form a visual narrative I hope you will enjoy.

My name is Martina, and I am the ultimate Bohemian Queen.  Born in Bohemia (former Czechoslovakia) now living in the US, I carry in my heart the culture and style of the “old” country.  I am extremely passionate about Life, Photography, Food, Fashion and Animals.  Photography, Cooking and Fashion is where I express myself the most.  Most of the pictures you see here on my blog are taken by either myself, or my husband, and quite often feature me!

A Photographer’s Eye for Fashion!

I have always LOVED fashion! Having a FASHION STYLE has nothing to do with the amount of money you have. For me, it has everything to do with creativity.

My style doesn’t remain the same – it’s constantly evolving. I live a good life, but I make sure I am frugal with everything I invest in. (Mostly clothes). I “play” with my clothes and turn them into multiple outfits, and my photography background helps in capturing my interests.

Healthy Foods, Full of Flavor

I have endless recipes and ideas to share. After several years of researching and creating my own recipes, I consider myself an expert on cooking gluten-free, sugar-free, fat-free meals and treats.

I didn’t plan on it: A few years ago, my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer. Believe it or not, that changed our lives for the BETTER! Food we eat can be healthy, and good for us at the same time. It can satisfy, heal, nourish, and prolong your life.

Lifestyle and Inspiration

In my early years, I was constantly searching for the meaning of Life and Happiness. Again, I do not profess to know everything or to be an expert on “Life”, but I think I finally unlocked the “secret”. It took years of soul searching, reading, and educating myself with no help from Therapists (this is my European sense of humor).

Traveling and opening your mind to different experiences, getting to know different people, can truly make you a better human being.
